Ewan ko ba kung bakit ko napagtripan si Melanie Marquez ngyong araw na ito at sya ang napagdiskitihan kong i-blog ngyon. Pamosa talaga itong si madam melanie..former beauty queen, supermodel at ina. ina ng anim na anak! oh yes and look at the figure nman!

Pero ang blog na ito ay hindi tungkol sa buhay nya. kundi kung anong mga pamosong linya nya. The Melanisms. pero nabasa ko sa isang article na ung mga magagaling mag-english ba e meron ba silang title ng "Ms International"?. oo nga nman. so who are we judge her. besides, she is not a book..davah?!

Ang tagal ko hindi nagblog.
Pasensya na.

Online talaga ako madalas, lalo paguwi ko, yet ayoko magblog kasi most of the time pag online na ako, hindi ko na alam kung ano ang ittype ko, yet ang daming thoughts na gumugulo sa isip ko.

Marami-rami na ang mga nangyari.

At ako ngayo'y nandito sa library. Syempre.

"One More Chance"

Ito yung plot niya, kasi ayokong ikwento LOL.

Popoy (John Lloyd Cruz) and Basha (Bea Alonzo) have been together forever.

Their love story started when they met as students in a university. Popoy was taking up Engineering while Basha was a freshman in Architecture. They have been inseparable ever since—they did everything together: eating, studying and/or attending parties. Their families loved them, they shared friends, they eventually worked in the same firm and their life plans revolved around each other.

There is no Popoy without a Basha and vice versa. In short, they are certain that they would get married someday and build a home together literally and figuratively. Architect Basha will design and plan their dream house while Engineer Popoy will be the one to build it. Everything is perfect.

At least that is what Popoy thinks.

But all the planning and dreaming eventually take a toll on Basha. Tired of trying to carve her own mark in the firm where they are both working, she suddenly tells him that she wants to resign and move to a smaller firm where she can be given a bigger chance to design on her own. Popoy is alarmed by Basha's sudden decision. Basha tells him the problem that has been brewing inside her for the past year, the real reason why she wants to leave their company & she is tired of Popoy and their relationship. She feels that Popoy is all over her and that she hasn't been given the opportunity to decide and plan for herself because Popoy already did everything. Popoy is speechless. Inside, he is devastated. That same night, Basha asks for a breakup. She tells him she needs the space to grow on her own.

Not knowing how to pick himself up after the love of his life leaves him, Popoy struggles to live his new life alone. Meanwhile, Basha resigns and transfers to a smaller firm where she begins to feel the freedom she's been longing for. Popoy and Basha try to live without each other but the ties that bind them make it harder for both to move on. Their families and friends became constant reminders of the promises and dreams they had during their happier days.

Slowly, Popoy learns to pick up the pieces and discovers a life that he can call his own. But Basha's journey proves to be more difficult, especially when she sees Popoy starting to date other girls. A part of her wants to get him back but a part also knows that she was the one who asked for this.

Opportunity knocks when Popoy's aunt commissions them to build her house together. After feeling awkward around each other, Popoy and Basha eventually warm up. After all, five years of being together is hard to erase. Slowly and unconsciously, they fall into their old routines and find themselves enjoying each other's company once again. Both realize how much they've missed each other yet both also recognize how much they've changed.

But Popoy knows too well that giving in would mean going back to how they were before. And he's way too scared to get in the way of Basha's growth once again, especially now that he has seen that she can do it alone.

For me, sa pagkakaintindi ko at pagkakainterpret ko ng movie. Wala talagang naging kasalanan ung dalawa. Nangyayari lang na kapag minsan sa sobrang mahal natin ung isang tao, nawawala na ung unang tao na minahal niya at napapalitan ang mga sarili natin ng hindi natin namamalayan because we are trying to save the relationship na talaga namang pinakaingat-ingatan nila. In their case, 5 years na kasi sila at magpapakasal na next year nang ito ngang si Basha ay nagpasyang makipagbreak.

Tao lang naman sila at nagkakamali din, at sa pagkakamaling yun, may natutunan ang dalawa sa bawat experience nila. :)

Nairita ako kanina kasi clearance at indi ko inexpect na walang kwentang mark ang makikita ko dun sa isang subject ko. Fucker talaga at bumibingo na sakin yung prof na yun.

Ang usapan: Perfect score = Passed. Expect 3 problems and these problems will include computations.

This was supposed to be a removal exam sa mga hindi umabot yung FG sa passing.
Pero PUTA naman. Sana pantay kasi yung pagtingin mo sa lalaki saka sa babae. Wag naman bigyan ng special treatment ang mga babae.

Pare-pareho naman kami nagbabayad ng tuition. Putakte talaga.

Naalala ko lang tong movie na 'to minsan. Nung nasa iRC ako, naalala ko yung friend ko sinend sakin yung trailer nito sa YouTube. Naalala ko lang yung title nung movie minsan kaya naisipan kong idownload. (Since mahilig naman ako magdownload pag madaling araw para diretso nuod na pagkagising ko.) And hindi ako nagsisisi sa pagdownload ng movie na ito. The title of the movie is "Summer Storm."

It is a German gay-themed movie. Another gay-theme movie na infairness ay nakaconnect ako sa kwento. Though hindi naman talaga nangyari sakin yan. Nagustuhan ko lang yung plot niya, yung flow nung kwento, and actually indi ako nabore panoorin. Sa totoo lang, hindi malaswa ang love scenes. (Art ito!) The movie was almost perfect. (Ayoko lang kasi nung ending, parang nabitin ako.) Pero here goes the synopsis.



These are the two main characters of the movie. They're Tobi (left) and Achim (right). Obviously sa simula pa lang, malalaman mo na si Tobi ay higit sa best friend ang turing kay Achim. Pareho silang nasa rowing team na nakikipagcompete sa ibang teams sa Germany (which is obviously the location). May parating na sort of competition between the teams kaya naisipan nilang magcamping, kasama yung ibang teams para makapatraining din, and para makabonding na rin siguro ang ibang team.

Bago pa man mangyari ang camping, si Achim ay nahuhumaling kay Sandra, at parang nagkakamabutihan na sila nito before pa sila umalis para sa camping. Syempre, ang best friend niyang si Tobi ay todo selos, dahil nahati ang attention ni Achim sa kanya bilang best friend.



Ang nasa picture sa taas ay isa sa mga nakakaawang character sa movie. Her name is Anke, at sya ang may gusto kay Tobi. Well alam naman natin na si Tobi ay si Achim lamang ang gusto. Pero lahat ginawa ni Anke para magustuhan siya ni Tobi, pero wala pa ring epekto. Yung nasa picture sa taas, isa siyang scene na kinompronta ni Anke si Tobi dahil ipinagkalat ni Tobi na may nangyari sa kanila ni Anke. Pero nung sort of nagexplain si Tobi, e since nabubulag si Anke sa pagmamahal niya kay Tobi, parang wala lang yung pinagkalat ni Tobi at napatawad niya ito agad.



On the picture above is yung pagconfront ni Tobi kay Sandra tungkol sa nangyayari sa kanila ng kanyang best friend na si Achim. Syempre, sinabi ni Tobi na hindi lamang si Sandra ang makakapaghiwalay sa kanila ni Achim. As in sobrang selos talaga si Tobi kay Sandra.

The days passed, and minsan nagswimming sina Tobi at Achim, and the picture above shows na Tobi attempted to kiss Achim, pero syempre indi pumayag si Achim. "You're expecting too much from me." Nasabi ni Achim yung linyang yun dahil totoo nga naman. Sa sobrang close nila ni Achim, masyado nagexpect si Tobi na kung sakaling ipupursue niya na maging sila ni Achim, ay akala niya e magiging OK ang outcome. Pero hindi ganun ang nangyari. After lumayo ni Achim, dumating yung team ng queer guys, and Tobi made out with someone. Hindi ko lang nakuha yung name niya. Pero he looks like Matteo Guidicelli.



Anke never gave up. After makipagmakeout ni Tobi doon sa isang member nung kabilang team, nakita siya si Anke at sort of sineduce ni Anke si Tobi na to do it with her. Dito na sinabi ni Tobi ang katotohanan kay Anke na si Achim ang gusto nya. At ang reaksyon ni Anke, OUCH talaga. Kahit sinong babae ang masabihan nang ganun, OUCH talaga yun. Then hindi naman nagalit sa kanya si Anke, e since mahal niya si Tobi, natuto rin na tanggapin ni Anke si Tobi.



Yung picture naman sa taas, isa siyang scene na nawawala yung isang teammate ni Tobi na si Georg. And actually, may paparating na storm nun kaya nagalala sila. Si Georg ay tipo ng leader nung team ng mga queers. Kaya nung minsan inaya niya si Georg (na homophobic nung una, pero sort of nakumbinsi siya na hindi mga ganung tipo ng mga Homo yung kabilang team) ayun, gumawa ng paraan yung leader. I forgot his name. Darn.

Nung natagpuan si Georg, sabay pagkawala naman nina Achim at Sandra na nagmamakeout sa gubat. Nakita ito ni Tobi at sobrang nadismaya siya sa nakita niya. Then may fight na nangyari dahil ibinuko si Tobi na nagseselos siya kay Achim at Sandra, at pinapaamin siya na he's also a queer.

Then dito naging malupit yung mga teammate ni Tobi. Parang sort of pinandirihan siya. Nung lumipat sila ng location within the forest, dahil nasira ng storm yung camp nila, hindi siya pinatulog kasama ang team niya. Mabuti na lamang at inaalagaan siya nung kabilang team. The picture is shown below.



Pero after ilang days, natanggap din nung teammate ni Tobi ang preference niya. The picture below shows yung muling paguusap ni Anke at Tobi after ng incident.



In the end, natalo din sila nung team ng queers sa competition. @_@ And nagusap ulit in the end sina Achim at Tobi. Sinabi niya na medyo mahihirapan siyang i-deal si Tobi dahil sa mga nangyari. Pero the friendship still remains. Unpredictable yung ending. Hayy. Pero nice movie talaga. Ang pogi ni Achim. Shet. LOL

Officially, it is Finals Week.
Finals Week for the First Semester, Academic Year 2007-2008

Grabe, nung nasa bus ako kanina, hindi ako mapakali.
Mr. Matulac (Professor sa OR) released our grades last Saturday and hindi yata nainform lahat, kaya ayun, ang gagawin is isend na lang daw sa kanyang email ad ang .jpeg ng aming permit at isesend niya sayo ang grade mo.

Nagloko ang grade ko sa subject na 'ito. Nasa 40% pa ang hinahabol ko for the finals, pero may instinct ako na hindi ko maaabot ang 120 na inaasam ko for this subject. Pano kasi, ang hirap nung finals, pati yung last quiz.

Pero, sabi niya, magpaparemedial daw siya on Monday. 8-9 ang oras. DO or DIE nga sabi ni Oyang, sabi naman ni Roanne, parang ipinapamukha niya lang sayo na bagsak ka na talaga kasi 3 problems yun, at dapat wala kang mali.

Those topics will include: Linear Programming, Vogels Approximation and Crash Time (PERT)

SHIT talaga. Ampf. Nakakainis. >_< May permit na ako dahil pinagtiyagaan ko yung pila kanina sa Engineering, sobrang haba at sobrang tagal ng service. Muntik ko ng gamitan ng Queueing Models kanina sa sobrang nakakainis. Yung mga ibang Engineering Students ang gagaling sumingit. Peste!

Salamat kay Richard at tuturuan mo kami ni Leona sa Thursday.
Hindi ko pa naman talaga nakikita yung grade ko sa OR, pero pinaghahandaan ko na rin yung possibility na hindi umabot grade ko.

Actually, malaki raw ang inadjust ni Sir Matulac, kasi thru the normal curve daw yung ginawa niyang adjustment (nagnosebleed ako dun)
